Hockney-Indoor

This was one of the first times that I have tried to stage a shot. While I enjoyed this experience, I still would rather shoot landscapes and architecture.

Western Technosites-Critique

I know that this is a little late, but here is my critique for the show at UOP. It took me awhile before I realized what Daniel Kasser was doing with his prints. The first one I looked at was the gold panning pan in the ground, and I just thought that it was a close up of the pan with the pine trees in the background. It wasn't until later in the show that I realized that he was enlarging common objects and placing them(with PhotoShop) in landscapes that they may be found in. I enjoyed the show and the way the prints were not traditionally framed as normally seen in most shows.

Curve

I found this to be an interesting experiment with color. The image in the center is the original, and the images on the left I have increased red, green, and blue(from top to bottom). The images on the right I have decreased the red, green, and blue(from top to bottom). For the image in the top center I combined all the images on the left, this didn't change the color much but it did lightened the image. The bottom center image is a combination of all the images on the right, this darkened the image.

RAW

Here are a couple of different exposures that I fixed(changed) in the RAW format. The first one(on the left) was over exposed, so I fixed the exposure. The bottom left was properly exposed so I was playing with the saturation, clarity, vibrance, and a little bit of color. I like the way it softened the edge of the flower and making it mostly black and white, while highlighting the magentas.
