Western Technosites-Critique

I know that this is a little late, but here is my critique for the show at UOP. It took me awhile before I realized what Daniel Kasser was doing with his prints. The first one I looked at was the gold panning pan in the ground, and I just thought that it was a close up of the pan with the pine trees in the background. It wasn't until later in the show that I realized that he was enlarging common objects and placing them(with PhotoShop) in landscapes that they may be found in. I enjoyed the show and the way the prints were not traditionally framed as normally seen in most shows.
